Club career

On 31 May 2011, Voser transferred from Grasshopper-Club Zurich to Basel.[1] He made his league debut for Basel on 16 July 2011 in a 1–1 away draw against BSC Young Boys.[2] But after just six matches he suffered an injury that kept him out of training for the remainder of the season. At the end of the 2011–12 season he won the Double, the League Championship title[3] and the Swiss Cup with his new club.[4]

At the end of the Swiss Super League season 2012–13 Voser won the Championship title[5] for the second time and was Swiss Cup runner up with Basel.[6] In the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League Basel advanced as far as the semi-finals, there being matched against the reigning UEFA Champions League holders Chelsea, but they were knocked out losing both matches 2–5 on aggregate.[7]

Voser scored his first goal for Basel in the 2013–14 season on 23 November 2013 in the St. Jakob-Park. It was the second goal for Basel as they beat Thun 4–1.[8] At the end of the 2013–14 Super League season Voser won his third league championship with Basel.[9] They also reached the final of the 2013–14 Swiss Cup, but were beaten 2–0 by Zürich after extra time. During the 2013–14 Champions League season Basel reached the group stage and finished the group in third position. Thus they qualified for Europa League knockout phase and here they advanced as far as the quarter-finals.

On 2 July 2014, Fulham announced they had signed Voser on a two-year deal with an option for a third. The fee was undisclosed.[10] His contract was terminated by mutual consent in February 2016.[11]

After half a season at FC Sion he signed a two-year contract with FC Zürich in June 2016.[12]

On March 6, 2018, Voser signed with American side Charlotte Independence for the 2018 season.[13] Voser left Charlotte at the end of their 2018 season.[14]

International career

Voser played his Swiss U-16 debut on 26 August 2002 in the 2–2 away draw against the German U-16 team. He made his Swiss U-21 debut on 7 February 2007 in the 4–0 away defeat against the French U-21 team.
