Kabega (also well-known as Kabega Park) is a western suburb of Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

Administration
Kabega is governed by the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality which governs Port Elizabeth, Despatch, Uitenhage and other surrounding settlements. It forms part of Ward 8 of Nelson Mandela Bay along with Ben Kamma, Brymore, Glenroy Park, Kamma Park, Lorraine, Lorraine Manor Weybridge Park and Willow Glen.[2]
Location
Kabega is located on the western outskirts of Port Elizabeth with the N2 and R102 (Cape Road) running through the suburb. The N2 links to Port Elizabeth Central and Makhanda in the east and Humansdorp and Cape Town in the west. The R102 links to Port Elizabeth Central in the east and Jeffreys Bay and Humansdorp in the west.[3]
Kabega Park is surrounded by the suburbs of Kunene Park, Rowallan Park, Francis Evatt Park, Brentwood Park, Glenroy Park, Morningside and Van Der Stel.[4]
The Baakens River also runs through the suburb.

Churches in Kabega include the All Saints' Anglican Church, Assembly of Believers of Christ, Cape Rd Church of Christ, Grace Baptist Church, Kabega Park Seventh-Day Adventist Church, New Life Family Church PE, Old Apostolic Church Kabega Park and Westway-Bethel Community Church.[5][6]
Police Station
Kabega also has a police station near Cape Road with the name "Kabega Park".[7]
Shopping
Kabega Park includes the Metlife Plaza Shopping Centre adjacent tp the M7 and just off the N2 off-ramp. Notable stores in Metlife Plaza include Makro, Checkers, Postnet, Food Lover's Market and the Crazy Store.[10][11] KFC has a drive-thru on Cape Road.[12]
The Baywest Mall is 6 kilometres west of Kabega Park and is a larger shopping centre (largest in the Eastern Cape) with over 180 stores.[13]
