Current status
KLSN-LP went off the air in January 2018 due to equipment failure and controversy surrounding their placement of transmission equipment [1][2] on a tower operated by American Tower. The city of Antioch stated that they had not given permission for KLSN-LP to place equipment at their site; however, the station general manager stated that he had obtained informal permission from Mayor Sean Wright to do so when KLSN-LP was under pressure from the FCC to find a site to place a transmitter or face license revocation.[3]
