June 2017 Kabul mosque attack

On the night of 15 June 2017, a terrorist attack, involving a blast and gunfire, occurred at al-Zahra mosque[3], a Shia mosque in Dashte Barchi area of Kabul, Afghanistan.[4] The attack on a crowded mosque killed several people, including a leader of Afghanistan's ethnic Hazaras, Hajji Ramazan Hussainzada.[5][6] Meanwhile, according to an eyewitness, the entire mosque has been damaged in the siege.[7] ISIL claimed to be responsible for the attack.[8]
