Club career

Born in Novi Sad, SR Serbia, he started playing at age of 10 when he joined the youth team of FK Vojvodina.[1] He made his debut as a senior in the 1988–89 season and played in the Yugoslav First League until 1992.

He then moved to Portugal where he spent most of his career, Bosančić played for C.F. União (two spells), S.C. Campomaiorense, Barnsley and En Avant Guingamp, finishing his career with União's Madeira neighbours, C.D. Nacional.

He helped the Tykes gain promotion to the Premier League for the first time in the club's history, only to be immediately relegated. Whilst in the Premier League he scored twice, in games against Blackburn Rovers and Southampton.[2][3] He retired from football in 2003, at the age of 33.

gollark: I mean, if you give a reasonable amount of money to people so they can buy things, they can... live okayishly... but still have an incentive to do work if they want more stuff.
gollark: How, exactly?
gollark: You might also just want more stuff and thus more money.
gollark: The "from each according to their ability, to each according to their needs" thing seems like it wouldn't produce much of an incentive to work, and also people *want* stuff as well as needing some stuff.
gollark: Also better taxes on externalities.
