Joseph Gabriel de Poulpiquet de Coatlès
Joseph Gabriel de Poulpiquet de Coatlès (1744 — 1789)[1] was a French Navy officer. He served in the War of American Independence.
Biography
Coatlès served on the 74-gun Hercule, under La Clocheterie. He took part in the Battle of the Saintes on 12 April 1782, and took over command of Hercule when La Clocheterie was killed.
In the subsequent inquiry into the events of the battle, Coatlès was both praised and admonished for his defence of Hercule and failure to come to the rescue of Ville de Paris.[2][3][4]

gollark: It's probably ARM, so you need weird special distros because ARM is a mess.
gollark: It has redundant PSUs but I only have one plugged in so the fault warning light blinks constantly.
gollark: I have never tried my server under full load and it never goes anywhere near full load except during boot, so meh.
gollark: Maybe Starlink. Eventually.
gollark: Unfortunately, where I live there's no better option as far as I know.
