John Saunderson

John Saunderson (born 31 May 1948) was an Australian politician.

Biography

Born in Berkshire, England, he migrated to Australia where he became a senior technical officer for Telecom. He was State President of the Australian Telecommunications Employees' Association. In 1983, he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Labor member for Deakin, and in 1984 successfully contested the new seat of Aston. He held Aston until his defeat in 1990.[1]
