John Gast (priest)
John Gast (1715 - 1788) was an Irish Anglican priest and historian.[1]
The son of a French Hugenot,[2] Gast was educated at Trinity College, Dublin.[3] He was the Archdeacon of Glendalough [4] from 1864 to 1878.[5] He also wrote extensively on Irish and Greek history.[6]
