Jody J. Daniels
Jody J. Daniels is a lieutenant general (LTG) in the United States Army, who serves as the 34th [1] Chief of Army Reserve, and 9th Commanding General, U.S. Army Reserve Command (since 2020).[2] She earned her commission through Army Reserve Officers Training Corps in 1983. In July 2020, Daniels was confirmed to succeed LTG Charles D. Luckey as Chief of Army Reserve.[3]

Education
Daniels earned her Bachelor's Degree at Carnegie Mellon University in 1983.[4] and later completed her Ph.D. in computer science at University of Massachusetts Amherst.[5] Her dissertation, in computer science, is titled Retrieval of passages for information reduction.[6] She also completed a Master of Science degree in strategic studies at the U.S. Army War College.
In Daniels' civilian career, she was the Director of Advanced Programs for Lockheed Martin's Advanced Technology Laboratories (LM ATL).[2]
