Jodi (2019 film)

Jodi (English: The Couple) is a 2019 Telugu romantic drama film written and directed by Vishwanath Aarigella.[1] The film is produced by Sai Venkatesh Gurram and Patchva Padmaja jointly under the banner Bhavana Creations. It features Aadi Saikumar and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles alongside Vennela Kishore, Gollapaudi Maruthi Rao, Naresh and Sithara in the supporting roles. The background score and soundtrack is done by Phani Kalyan. The cinematography for the film is done by S.V.Visweshwar. The editing for the film is done by Ravi Mandala. The film was released on 6 September 2019.[2] The film met with negative reviews from critics and average reviews from audiences.[3][4][5]

Plot

Kapil, a system admin, detests his father for betting money on Cricket. He is such a Cricket buff that he named his son after Kapil Dev. When Kapil falls in love with a French teacher Kanchana Mala his world changes.
