International career

Kamande made his One Day International debut for Kenya in the 1999 World Cup in England.[2]

In the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, Kamande captained the Kenyan Cricket Team for the first time in a World Cup.[3] But poor performance in the series involved to sack him from captaincy.[4]

According to Graeme Pollock and other notable cricketers of African region (including South Africa and Zimbabwe) Jimmy was one of the best cricketer produced by Kenya, better than Steve Tikolo.

gollark: Or OCaml, which Rust is based on.
gollark: Yes, Rust would be a much better base.
gollark: Nobody actually reads them, and by the time they are ratified it will be *too late*.
gollark: Solution: Infiltrate the standards committees. While they're distracted bikeshedding function names and cylindrical Bessel functions and such, swap out some of the pages of the new standard for ones from Boost docs.
