Jiangnan Social University

Jiangnan Social University (江南社会学院) is an institute of higher education affiliated with Chinese intelligence agencies, namely the Ministry of State Security of People's Republic of China (MSS). It is sometimes called Institute of Cadre Management Suzhou by Western observers.[1]

Academics

It teaches courses in espionage tradecraft, such as firearms, martial arts, driving, communications, and surveillance skills.[2] The university is located in Suzhou, Jiangsu, established in 1984 as the annex of the University of International Relations.[3] It provides short term courses for the staff of the headquarters at MSS. It also publishes the Journal of Jiangnan Social University, featuring the study of national security - with its open address listed as No.47 mailbox, Suzhou.
