Jesenice (Rakovník District)
Jesenice (German: Jechnitz) is a small town in Rakovník District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has a population of about 1,700 inhabitants.

History
Jesenice was probably founded in 12th century, however the municipality was first mentioned in a written document in 1321. Jesenice has the town status from 2008.
