Jaycee Gebhard is a Canadian ice hockey centre who was the first ever draft pick of the Toronto Six, going 6th overall in the 2020 NWHL Draft.

Career

Across 139 NCAA games, Gebhard scored 198 points, setting the Robert Morris University all-time record for points.[1][2][3] She was named CHA Rookie of the Year and Women's Hockey Commissioners' Association National Rookie of the Year in her first season.[4][5] She was touted as a potential nominee for the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award in 2020, and was a finalist for the CHA Player of the Year award.[6][7][8]

In April 2020, Gebhard was selected 6th overall by the NWHL Toronto expansion team, being the first player to be drafted in the team's history.[9] The following month, she would sign her first professional contract with Brynäs IF in Sweden.[10]

International

Gebhard was an assistant captain for Team Canada at the 2015 IIHF World Women's U18 Championship, putting up 4 points in 5 games and winning a silver medal.[11][12]
