Jayasri Rachakonda
Jayasri Rachakonda[1] is an Advocate and Indian film actress who predominantly works in the Telugu Film industry. While practicing as an Advocate in the Hon'ble High Court of Telangana, she received many offers for film roles, and made her acting debut in Prashanth Varma's film Awe. Since then, she has primarily appeared in various films, Ads and shortfilms. Her roles in Mallesham, Valliddari Madhya,[2] and ZEE5's web series Chadarangam[3][4] garnered her acclaim.[5]

Early life
Born and brought up in FCI, Ramagundam, Telangana, Jayasri did her schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya School, Ramangundam where she was not only an excellent student but she also participated in various athletic events, cultural activities and was an active member of the drama club.
She was married right after her high school and had her only child at the age of 18 years. After a 5 year break, she graduated from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, and went on to pursue Law (LL.B, LL.M, PGDIPR) from Osmania University and has been practicing at Hon'ble Telangana High Court since then. In 2018 she was offered a role in Prashant Varma's Awe which was followed by her brother Raj Rachakonda's directorial debut Mallesham[6] the following year which went on to win the Best Film in the Critics Choice Film Awards.[7]
