Jay Jackson (baseball)
Randy "Jay" Jackson (born October 27, 1987) is an American professional baseball pitcher. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres and Milwaukee Brewers and in NPB for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp, Chiba Lotte Marines.

Career
Chicago Cubs
Jackson played college baseball at Furman University. He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the ninth round of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft. He played in the Cubs organization until 2012.
Miami Marlins
He spent 2013 in the Miami Marlins organization.
Pittsburgh Pirates/Milwaukee Brewers
He spent the 2014 season with the AAA affiliates of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Milwaukee Brewers.
San Diego Padres
Prior to 2015, Jackson signed with the San Diego Padres. He was called up to the majors for the first time on September 14, 2015.[1]
Hiroshima Toyo Carp
Jackson was released by the Padres after the season and signed with the Hiroshima Toyo Carp of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for 2016.
Milwaukee Brewers (second stint)
On February 15, 2019, Jackson signed a minor league deal with the Milwaukee Brewers that included an invitation to spring training.[2] Jackson had his contract selected to the major leagues on April 29, 2019.[3] Jackson was designated for assignment on May 5, 2019 and outrighted on May 8. As part of the Brewers organization he was selected in the Triple A all star team. The Brewers selected Jackson's contract on July 13.
Chiba Lotte Marines
On December 4, 2019, Jackson signed with the Chiba Lotte Marines.[4]On July 10, 2020, He arrested on suspicion of cannabis possession.[5]
