Plot
Sunny (Arya Babbar) is a jobless young man in a Punjab village who dreams to immigrate to Canada. He keeps visiting travel agencies for visa assistance, while he is actually not qualified -- he is not educated, he does not speak English, nor does he has the money to support his immigration. He once visits Raavi's (Sameksha) travel agency to ask for assistance of applying for Canadian visa, who rejects him after learning he is not qualified. However, Sunny meets Raavi later in another occasion, where Raavi develops her love for him.
Jugnu (Gurpreet Ghuggi) is the owner of a new travel agency in the same place, who has not even succeeded in getting one single visa for his customer yet, and he is struggling to pay his shop rent. Jugnu owes 20,000 Rs to the landlord of his agency as rent, who threatens to shut his agency's electricity if he doesn't pay it within 10 days. Sunny visits Jugnu's travel agency to apply for his dreamed Canada visa, Jugnu agrees but asks Sunny for 2 million Rs as handling fee. Sunny does not have that much money alone, but agrees as he thinks his family would manage to get it.
Delighted Sunny tells his family this good news and asks for 2 million Rs. They refuse him at first, but after realizing he would become a success after immigration, they mortgaged their land to a local drug smuggler Titoo (Binnu Dhillon) and lend 2 million Rs from him and give it to Sunny. Meanwhile, Titoo has a heart problem and is told by doctor that he needs a heart transplant.
Jugnu's girlfriend is Khushi, whose father just gets her engaged with Titoo. Angry Jugnu visits Khushi's father to ask him get Khushi married to him, instead of Titoo. Khushi's father agrees on condition that Jugnu has 2 million Rs as savings. Jugnu promises him to show him the money a few days later as he is confident that he'll get a visa for Sunny.
Sunny pays 2 million Rs to Jugnu as visa handling fee, and Jngnu show it to Khushi's father, making him agree to marry Khushi to Jugnu. Jugnu's plan to get Sunny a visa is to make the latter pretend a drummer that's going to Canada with a singer to perform a play. However, unknown by everyone, the singer in his plan is a scammer. He takes Jugnu's 2 million Rs and gives him a fake visa.
However, Khushi's father breaks his promise to Jugnu, by planning to hold the wedding of Khushi and Titoo in advance. Upset Khushi elopes with Jugnu, who at that time is expected to give Sunny his passport, the fake visa and air ticket at the airport. Eloping with Khushi, Jugnu has to switch off his phone, despite Sunny is waiting for him at the airport.
Unable neither to board the flight nor to contact Jugnu, Sunny learns he is cheated by Jugnu. He also realizes now he will not be able to repay the 2 million Rs to his family who mortgage their land for it. He decides to suicide to get an insurance payment to repay the debt, but is saved by Raavi, who tells him that she likes him. Raavi is a kind girl but happens to be Titoo's sister. She gives Sunny an idea to report Titoo's information to police so that he can get a reward to repay his debt, but Sunny messes up the plan and is caught by Titoo.
Titoo now wants to kill Sunny and have his heart transplanted to him. Raavi somehow save Sunny and his friends, and informs it to his family. A fight breaks out between Sunny's family that are coming to save him and Titoo's men that are chasing Sunny to kill him.
