Jane and Robert Cizik School of Nursing
The Jane and Robert Cizik School of Nursing at Houston was established in 1972. It is one of six academic units of the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. It has the largest nursing program in metro-Houston. There are other nursing programs in the University of Texas System including the University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing.
The School of Nursing at UT Houston is considered the top nursing school in Texas, as well as twenty-first in the United States according to the U.S. News & World Report's 2011 rankings for graduate nursing schools.
