Jakarta–Merak Toll Road

The Jakarta–Lampung Toll Road is a toll road connecting Jakarta and Lampung. The total length of this toll road is 140 kilometres (87 mi). This is main toll road for people who live in West Jakarta and Bandar Lampung. This toll road were also the part of Asian Highway 2.

History

The Toll Road is the second toll road in Indonesia after Jagorawi Toll Road in 1978. The toll has a length of 140 km. The toll road is famous to its traffic on Karang Tengah Toll Gate. On 19 April 2017, due of heavy traffic, it was decided to demolish Karang Tengah Toll Gate. The first westbound exit is at Kebon Jeruk. The Jakarta-Lampung has only 7x7 wide of the road. The toll road is also access to Jakarta, Tangerang, Balaraja, Cikande, Ciujung, Serang, Pandeglang, Cilegon, Merak, Laut (SelatSunda), Bakauheni, Lampung
