Jackie Tobin
John Patrick Tobin, known as Johnny or Jackie (January 8, 1921 – January 18, 1982), was a professional baseball player. He played one season in Major League Baseball for the 1945 Boston Red Sox, primarily as a third baseman.

Tobin also had a long minor league baseball career, playing in the minors from 1942 until 1957. He played in the Pacific Coast League from 1948 to 1957, mostly as an outfielder.
Johnny's brother Jim Tobin was a major league pitcher from 1937 to 1945. He is interred at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward.[1]
