Inuyasha the Movie: Affections Touching Across Time (映画犬夜叉 時代を越える想い, Eiga Inuyasha: Toki o Koeru Omoi) (also known as InuYasha the Movie: The Love that Transcends Time) is the first film of the Inuyasha series. Some characters are designed by Hideyuki Motohashi, who also worked on Fushigi Yūgi, A-ko the Versus and Ceres: Celestial Legend. The film was released in 2001 in Japan and in North America in 2004. The song, "No More Words", is performed by Ayumi Hamasaki.

Plot

In feudal-era Japan, Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, Sango, and Shippo find themselves up against a vengeful demon, Menōmaru, and his servants Ruri and Hari, who all plan on plunging time and space into chaos.
