Independence Daysaster
Independence Daysaster is a 2013 Canadian science fiction action television film directed by W. D. Hogan and stars Ryan Merriman and Tom Everett Scott. The film premiered on June 27, 2013, on Syfy[1] and was released on DVD on May 27, 2014.[2] The film is a mockbuster of the 1996 film Independence Day.

Plot
America's fourth of July celebrations are abruptly interrupted when Earth is invaded by hostile aliens. A maverick scientist and a small-town firefighter join forces to find and activate the only piece of technology in the world that can destroy the extraterrestrial army.
