Igor Jovović

Igor Jovović (born 16 October 1982) is a Montenegrin professional basketball coach. He is the current head coach of Telekom Baskets Bonn of the Basketball Bundesliga.

Coaching career

Jovović started as an assistant coach for Budućnost Podgorica of the ABA League under Dejan Radonjić in 2007. In 2013, he was appointed as the head coach of Budućnost until 2015. Jovović took Budućnost to the semifinals in the 2014–15, 2015–16 and 2016–17 seasons.

In summer 2015, he was appointed as the new head coach of the new ABA League team from Nikšić, Montenegro, KK Sutjeska.

Since 19 May 2016 he coaches Basketball Bundesliga team Mitteldeutscher BC under a three-year contract.

On June 7, 2018, Jovović became head coach of Polish first-division team Basket Zielona Góra.

On July 15, 2020, he has signed with Telekom Baskets Bonn of the Basketball Bundesliga as head coach.[1]
