Hvozdná lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) east of Zlín and 258 km (160 mi) east of Prague.


History

The first mention of the village comes from 1446. Some data also allow for possible settlement around 1425.

In 2010, Hvozdná was awarded The Village of the Year of the Zlín Region.
