Background
The band recorded their eighth studio album at Spinroad Studios in Lindome, Sweden. The album was produced once again by Jay Ruston, who produced their last album Avatar Country.[1]
Song information
Avatar released a music video for one song thus far for the album, "Silence in the Age of Apes" on May 14, 2020. The song was said to be inspired by a book by Yuval Noah Harari called Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind.

gollark: True, true. It'll technically *work* if you pick at random or something and nobody will be particularly surprised, but it'd be a nice-to-have.
gollark: Also, sometimes situations where you need to make subjective value judgements about items can occur, and so can loops.
gollark: It wouldn't be too hard to, I just generally don't.
