Hungarian Swimming Championships
The Hungarian Swimming Championships (Hungarian: Úszó Magyar Bajnokság, Országos Bajnokság, magyar bajnokság) are held annually in outdoor 50 m pool. The championships sometimes also works as trials for the Summer Olympics, World Championships and European Championships. Swimmers representing Hungarian swim teams may participate.

History
The event is usually held in March or April each year in a long course (50 m) swimming pool, with the results usually acting as selection trials for upcoming international level competitions due to be held in the following summer season.
