Political career

Humberto Llanos was elected regidor of Pichilemu on 7 April 1935 for a term that would last until 1938. The mayor-elect was Serafín López Lizana, and his council was composed of the regidores Alberto Morales Moraga, Ramón Klehmet Genoux, Felipe Iturriaga Esquivel and himself. Llanos took office on 25 May 1935. However, López Lizana died in office just four months later, in September, and Llanos Martínez was elected mayor by the council in December of that year.[1] Armando Caroca Rojas took over Llanos' vacant in the council. Llanos was re-elected mayor, this time popularly, for the 193841 term; his council for that term was composed by Lorenzo Arraño Ortíz, Carlos Silva Prado, Vicente Richard, and Alberto Morales Moraga. He was succeeded in 1941 by Felipe Iturriaga Esquivel. Llanos was elected regidor for Iturriaga's term (194144), and later for the 194750 term under mayor Carlos Echazarreta Larraín.[1]

Llanos was a member of the Conservative Party of Chile.[2]

Other work

Llanos was also a member of the Pichilemu Fire Bureau, and was appointed Super-Intendant of the bureau for the year of 1952.[3]

gollark: ```c typedef uint64_t c3_d; // double-word typedef int64_t c3_ds; // signed double-word typedef uint32_t c3_w; // word typedef int32_t c3_ws; // signed word typedef uint16_t c3_s; // short typedef int16_t c3_ss; // signed short typedef uint8_t c3_y; // byte typedef int8_t c3_ys; // signed byte typedef uint8_t c3_b; // bit```Wow, this is HIGHLY readable.
gollark: Urbit contains C code for purposes, I assume.
gollark: I do not, however, have any idea why, since I only changed the multicast address.
gollark: Remember how a while ago I was working on a multicast-based chat thing which mysteriously failed and lead me to complain about POSIX or whatever's socket API? I found a random stackoverflow question which prompted me to change one line and it somewhat works now.
gollark: This is factually incorrect. I have syntax highlighting.
