Hotel International 2000 Ltd

The Hotel International 2000 normally referred to as "International Hotel" [1][2] is a hotel in Muyenga, a few miles from Kampala the capital and largest city of Uganda.

Location

The hotel is located on Tank Hill Road, Muyenga Hill, in Makindye Division about 45 minutes drive from Entebbe International Airport in Uganda. Hotel International is slightly opposite Save the children offices. Nearby towns are Kabalagala, which is a few miles to Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. The coordinates of the hotel are 0°17'34.6"N 32°37'03.3"E (Latitude:0.292943,; Longitude:32.617591) .[3]

Overview

The Hotel was set way back in 1988 with only 10 rooms and as of now it has 30 rooms, a wide parking space, swimming pool, three restaurants with Indian Cuisine, Casino bar, health center, gardens, and Wi-Fi. Hotel International also has 3 conference halls and 2 meeting spaces among which the Rotary club of Muyenga utilize for their weekly meetings and events [4]

Ownership

The hotel is apparently owned by prominent business magnate Godfrey Kirumira under the conglomerate "GKK group". Godfrey allegedly bought international in 2005[5][6][7] from the late Boney Katatumba.
