Hojai massacre
Hajoi massacre (হোজাই গণহত্যাকাণ্ড) refers to the massacre of Bengali Hindu refugee settlers from East Pakistan in Hajoi in Hojai district in the Indian state of Assam.[1] More than hundred Bengali Hindus were killed in the massacre. Assamese Hindus attacked Bengali Hindus and massacred them. The incident started with a tiff between a photo shop owner and a customer.[2]
