Hilltop, New Zealand

Hilltop is a suburb of Taupo in the Waikato region of New Zealand's North Island.

The suburb is close to Lake Taupo, Taupo Central and several schools.[1] It includes high-value homes with lake views.[1][2]

Part of the suburb suffered a major power surge in January 2018.[3]

Education

Hilltop School is a co-educational state primary school,[4] with a roll of 531 as of March 2020.[5][6]

Taupo Intermediate is a co-educational state intermediate school,[7][8] with a roll of 641 as of March 2020.[5][9]
