Hillcrest High School (Simpsonville, South Carolina)

Hillcrest High School is a public high school in Simpsonville, South Carolina, United States, and is one of the largest high schools in the Greenville County School District. It was opened on September 3, 1957 for students from Simpsonville, Mauldin and Fountain Inn. A new building was constructed adjacent to the school in 1992, with the original building becoming Bryson Middle School.

  • 1982 - The men's cross-country team won the 4A State Championship.
  • 1999 - The varsity women's soccer team won the 4A State Championship.
  • 2002, 2003, and 2004 - The varsity softball team won three consecutive 4A state championships and accomplished the longest softball winning streak in the state, with 96 wins.
  • 2006 - The varsity volleyball team won the 4A State Championship, their first state championship.
  • 2011 - The varsity volleyball team won the 4A State Championship.
  • 2011 - The wrestling team won the 4A State Championships.
  • 2012 - The wrestling team won the 4A State Championship for the second year in a row.
  • 2012 - The varsity volleyball team won the 4A State Championship defending its title.
  • 2012 - The varsity softball team won the 4A State Championship.
  • 2013 - The varsity volleyball team won the 4A State Championship for a third straight year.
  • 2014 - Varsity football defeated Dutch Fork 47-17 to win the school's first ever 4A State Champion title.
  • 2019 - Varsity wrestling won the 5A State Championship
