Hemiksem
Hemiksem (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦeːmɪksɛm], historical spellings Heymissen and Hemixem) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Hemiksem proper. On January 1, 2010 Hemiksem had a total population of 10,166. The total area is 5.44 km² which gives a population density of 1,868 inhabitants per km².

It is renowned in Flanders for its "Casa Blanca" festival, which at its peak had more than 80.000 visitors over three days.
Sights
The most notable sight in Hemiksem is the 13th century St. Bernard's Abbey, which now houses the town hall and police headquarters, after having undergone extensive renovations in the past decade.
