Heather Trost

Heather Trost (born July 18, 1982) is an American violinist and singer.

Biography

Trost was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico,[1] and is one of the two members of the American Balkan Folk band A Hawk and a Hacksaw, with husband Jeremy Barnes (of Neutral Milk Hotel).[2]

Trost and Barnes also worked together in the band Beirut, having been recruited by Zach Condon to help him complete the recording of his first album Gulag Orkestar (2006).[3]

She is a former member of the band FOMA.

gollark: Also, they make you maintain `.c` and `.h` files instead of just one which is annoying.
gollark: They're not namespaced unless you just prefix all your symbols with something, which is ugly, and I've heard they're not very good for compilers.

gollark: There are package managers but they're not standard, the language is poorly designed for them (HEADER FILES), and I don't think many libraries support them.
gollark: It's a fact of C *tooling*. There is no *standard* package manager for it.
