Haris Duljević

Haris Duljević (Bosnian pronunciation: [xâːris dûːʎeʋitɕ]; born 16 November 1993) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a winger for French club Nîmes and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

Duljević started his professional career at Čelik Zenica, before joining Olimpic in 2011. Three years later, he moved to Sarajevo. In 2017, he signed with Dynamo Dresden. Two years later, he was transferred to Nîmes.

A former youth international for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Duljević made his senior international debut in 2016, earning over 20 caps since.

Club career

Early career

Duljević came through Olimpic's youth academy, which he joined in the summer of 2009 from a local club.[2]

He made his professional debut playing for Čelik Zenica on 10 April 2011 at the age of 17.[3]

In March 2012, he returned to Olimpic on a two-and-a-half-year contract.[4] On 6 April 2013, Duljević scored his first professional goal against Velež.[5]

Sarajevo

In April 2014, Duljević signed a three-year deal with Sarajevo.[6] He made his competitive debut for the team in UEFA Europa League qualifier against Haugesund on 17 July.[7] Duljević scored his first goal for Sarajevo on 7 August against Atromitos to help them reach UEFA Europa League play-offs.[8] Three days later, he scored on his league debut against Borac Banja Luka.[9] Duljević won his first trophy with the club on 30 May 2015, when they were crowned league champions.[10]

Duljević was given the captain's armband in November 2015.[11]

In July 2017, it was announced that Duljević would leave Sarajevo at the end of season, following the decision not to renew his contract.[12]

Dynamo Dresden

On 4 August 2017, Duljević joined German side Dynamo Dresden on free transfer.[13] He made his official debut for the club against VfL Bochum on 27 August.[14] He scored his first goal for Dynamo Dresden in a victory over Fortuna Düsseldorf.[15]

Nîmes

On 30 July 2019, Duljević was transferred to French outfit Nîmes for an undisclosed fee.[16] Two weeks later, he debuted for the side against Paris Saint-Germain.[17]

International career

Duljević was a member of Bosnia and Herzegovina under-21 team under coach Vlado Jagodić.[18]

In March 2016, he received his first senior call-up, for friendly games against Luxembourg and Switzerland.[19] Duljević debuted in a comfortable win over former on 25 March.[20]

On 8 September 2018, in UEFA Nations League game against Northern Ireland, Duljević scored his first senior international goal.[21]

Personal life

Duljević married his long-time girlfriend Sara in July 2019. Together they have a daughter named Uma.[22]
