History and architecture

Gylle Church was probably erected at the end of the 12th century, but has been subsequently changed and reconstructed on numerous occasions. The church tower dates from the late Middle Ages, probably the 15th or 16th century. In 1875, the church was substantially enlarged and altered.[1][2] A large crucifix from the second half of the 15th century is preserved in the church,[3] while the altarpiece is from 1580, in Renaissance style.[2] The altarpiece has been re-painted several times, but during a renovation in 1936, the original paintings were restored.[4] The pulpit is also from the 16th century.[2]

gollark: I don't think so. But people would probably be able to figure out if it was particularly ASICable.
gollark: Since the OS isn't actually running to handle scheduling and all.
gollark: If you want it to be totally powered off until a certain time I am not sure if you can do *that* easily, though.
gollark: There are a bunch of different ways to run tasks at specified times on most Linux systems, it shouldn't be too hard.
gollark: The exercise bike thing is (probably) a joke.
