Guerin d'Oro

The Guerin d'Oro (Golden Guerin) is an annual prize instituted by the Italian weekly football magazine Guerin Sportivo, which, since 1976, is awarded to the player in Serie A with at least 19 games played, which has obtained the best average-media rating. The latter is obtained by calculating the average rating of each player's season, based on weekly rating reports of Guerin Sportivo and the three main Italian sports dailies, the Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport.[1]

The most recent recipient of the Guerin d'Oro is Carlos Tevez.[2]
