Archdiocese of Australia and other Orthodox jurisdictions

The first archdiocesan district of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory comprises 45 parishes, 1 cathedral, 1 chapel and 3 monasteries. Bishop Aimilianos of Meloes, auxiliary to Archbishop Makarios (Griniezakis) of Australia of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia, is responsible for this district. The archdiocese is a jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.
