Gossau SG railway station

Gossau SG railway station (German: Bahnhof Gossau SG) is a railway station in Gossau, in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen. It is an intermediate station on the St. Gallen–Winterthur line and the terminus of the Sulgen–Gossau and 1,000 mm (3 ft 3 ³⁄₈ in) metre gauge Gossau–Wasserauen lines.

Services

Gossau SG is served by two long-distance SBB services, both of which run hourly and operate over the St. Gallen–Winterthur line, combining for half-hourly service between Zürich and St. Gallen:[1]

• InterCity: hourly service between Lausanne and St. Gallen.
• InterRegio: hourly service between Zürich Hauptbahnhof and Chur.
• St. Gallen S-Bahn:
  • S1: half-hourly service over the St. Gallen–Winterthur line between Wil and St. Gallen, supplementing the long-distance services.
  • S5: half-hourly service over the Sulgen–Gossau line to Weinfelden and over the St. Gallen–Winterthur line to St. Gallen.
  • S23: half-hourly service over the Gossau–Wasserauen line to Wasserauen.
