Club career

Born in Vila Real de Santo António, Rodrigues started his career at local club Lusitano FC in 2005, three years before joining S.L. Benfica's youth system, where he played until June 2016. Shortly after, he made his professional debut with Benfica B in a 2016–17 LigaPro match against Varzim on 13 August that year.[2]

On 9 January 2019, Rodrigues joined Panetolikos in Greece on a six-month loan deal with the option for an additional year.[3][4]
