History

The company was established in 1897. It manufactures luggage constructed from vulcanised fibreboard.[1] Vulcanised fibreboard consists of multiple layers of bonded paper and provides better water resistance and abrasion resistance than leather.[2]

Globe-Trotter has recently started to produce some items in leather.
