Gest, California
Gest is a former settlement in Lassen County, California.[1] It was located 8 miles (13 km) north of Chats.[1]
A post office operated at Gest from 1893 to 1895, moving in 1894.[1] The name honored Erasmus Gest, an official with the Nevada–California–Oregon Railway.[1]
