Georges Bensoussan

Georges Bensoussan (born 17 February 1952) is an award-winning French historian.[1] He is the editor of the Revue d'histoire de la Shoah ("Shoah History Review").[2] He won the Memory of the Shoah Prize from the Jacob Buchman Foundation in 2008.[3] In March 2017, he was acquitted of charges of incitement against Muslims which emerged after he quoted an Algerian scholar and said, "in French Arab families, babies suckle anti-Semitism with their mother’s milk."[2] In September 2019, the Court of Cassation rejected complaints from civil society organizations about incitement to racial hatred against Georges Bensussan. [4]
