George Griffin (rugby league)

George Griffin is a rugby league footballer who plays as a prop, second-row or loose forward for the Castleford Tigers in the Betfred Super League.

He played for Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League, and on loan from Hull KR at Gateshead Thunder in Championship 1. He played for the London Broncos in the Super League and had a spell with the Queanbeyan Kangaroos in Australia. He spent time on loan from Salford at the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in 2015.

Griffin was born in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. He is the younger brother to Josh and Darrell Griffin.

Career

He played in the 2019 Super League Grand Final defeat to St. Helens at Old Trafford.[5][6][7]

Griffin will join Castleford from 2020, after signing a two-year deal in July 2019.[8]
