Design

The rifle was designed by professional German gunsmith Gottfried Prechtl, who specializes in custom Mauser rifles. The bolt-action is based on Mauser's M 98 Magnum system, which was introduced in the late 19th century on the Mauser Gewehr 98. Each rifle is custom made per requisitions of every customer, whether it is for tactical or sporting purposes, resulting in many options and configurations. A Sto-Con walnut stock forms the body of the rifle which is mounted with a Lothar Walther precision barrel and Mauser bolt. The walnut stock increases the flexibility of the rifle butt and therefore reduces recoil allowing for more precision when shooting.

gollark: Well, it does. Because you have to put effort into that nonsense in the first place and it may break later.
gollark: Yes. You can in theory work around the nonsense it does, but all you can do is work around it.
gollark: The whole thing, though, is that it's an OS *you pay for* (well, the manufacturer of the computer, the cost is passed on) isn't controlled by you and is actively doing things you don't want it to.
gollark: Yes, I should use random workarounds for the OS because it's literally working against me. Great.
