Fuman

Fuman (Manchu: ᡶᡠᠮᠠᠨ;Möllendorff: fuman; ?–1542) was an ancestor of the future Qing Dynasty emperors.. His father is Sibeoci Fiyanggū. His family name is Aisin Gioro(愛新覺羅).

History

Fuman was the great-grandfather of Nurhaci, who would reorganise and unite various Jurchen tribes. He lived in Hetuela (赫圖阿拉), a career pioneered by grandfather and father. He was the paternal as governor, known as Dudu Fuman, in 1522 to 1542 of Dudu Jianzhou Left Guard (建州左衛). Fuman died buried in Hetuela's old city, this place is also called Xingjing (興京). In 1636, Huang Taiji proclaimed himself emperor, chasing him as King of Qing(慶), in 1648, he was revered as the Emperor Zhi (直皇帝), temple name is Xingzu (興祖), and Qing Zhaozu, Jingzu and Xianzu the three ancestors were buried in Xingjing. In 1659, respect for the Yong Mausoleum (永陵).
