Feu! Chatterton

Feu! Chatterton is a French rock band from Paris formed in 2011. Their name is an homage to the poet Thomas Chatterton. In 2015, they released a first album, Ici le jour (a tout enseveli), praised by critics.[1] The band is composed of Antoine Wilson (bass), Arthur Teboul (voice), Clément Doumic (guitar and keyboard), Raphaël De Pressigny (drum) and Sébastien Wolf (guitar and keyboard).

Influences

Feu! Chatterton are renowned for their lyricism.[2] Arthur, the singer, is inspired by Serge Gainsbourg, Léo Ferré, Barbara, Alain Bashung and Jacques Brel. The musical structure of their songs was also compared to Radiohead.[3] Their other influences include Television (band), Led Zeppelin, as well as jazzmen such as Chet Baker, Nat King Cole and Miles Davis.
