Fergal Bowers

Fergal Bowers is an Irish journalist. He currently works as Health Correspondent for RTÉ News.[1] He worked as an editor for Irish Medical News and irishhealth.com before his RTÉ career.[2]

Career

Bowers worked as an editor for Irish Medical News for twelve years and won an ESB National Media Award in 1996. On 31 October 2000, it was announced that Bowers would be a new editor for Ireland's independent health website irishhealth.com.[3] In August 2004, Bowers was appointed by RTÉ to the senior position of health correspondent.[2]
