History

Felt released the debut studio album, Felt: A Tribute to Christina Ricci, in 2002.[1] It was produced by Murs' fellow Living Legends member The Grouch.[1]

In 2005, the duo released the second studio album, Felt, Vol. 2: A Tribute to Lisa Bonet.[2] It was produced by Ant of Atmosphere.[3]

In 2009, the duo released the third studio album, Felt 3: A Tribute to Rosie Perez.[4] It was produced by Aesop Rock.[5]

In 2020, Felt returned with a single, "Name in Ya Mouth".[6] In that year, the duo released the fourth studio album, Felt 4 U.[7] Produced by Ant, the album featured guest appearances from Blimes, Aesop Rock, The Grouch, and Shepard Albertson.[8]

Style and influences

Felt's first three studio albums are named after actresses; Christina Ricci, Lisa Bonet, and Rosie Perez.

Each of their first three studio albums contains two songs named after other celebrities; Suzanne Vega, Rick James, Morris Day, Marvin Gaye, Kevin Spacey, and Paul Reubens.
