Farhiya Abdi
Farhiya Abdi (born May 31, 1992) is a Somali-Swedish professional basketball player.[1] She was drafted in 2012 by the Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA.[2]

Career
Abdi was born in 1992 in Sweden. Her parents had emigrated from Somalia a few years earlier.
Abdi initially played for Frisco Brno in the Czech Republic basketball league. In 2012, she joined the Los Angeles Sparks, making her the first Somali to play in the WNBA.[2]
As of 2013, Abdi plays as a forward.
