Composition

The song was written by Iggy and SYB and was produced by them along with Carlos K. who also worked on the song "Memoria".[1] It was described on Billboard Japan as a song which shows that " 'Hikari' (light) is a symbol of the story, and it is expressed as a metaphor for a life without light, as darkness without light while waiting for someone you fell in love with".[2]

Release

It was released as a digital single on October 30, 2019.[3] On November 13, it was released as part of GFriend's first Japanese studio album Fallin' Light.[4]

Music video

A music video of the song was released on October 30, 2020, before the release of the album on November 13, 2020. It shows the six members having elegance as well as a set of lights.[5]
